About me

As the end of my senior year approaches I’m forced to consider what I want to do after high school. Although it’s scary, Renaissance has allowed me to pursue fields I’m interested in. I’ve found a love for medical sciences in studies such as Epidemiology, and my current lab internship. Along with my love of working with others and interacting with people, has led me to pursue a nursing career! Along with my fascination with anatomy, I want to do this renaissance because it will further prepare me for the courses I’m hoping to take in college.

I work well in both hands on and stationary learning environments. Visual tools like videos, 3D models, and real world examples help me learn and memorize best. I like being independant, and I’m capable to take charge of my learning and work when it's something I am interested. I enjoy rigorous, thought provoking work that has real world relevance (things like recent discoveries, ethical issues, health care, global issues...?). Khan Academy has a great series on anatomy and physiology!
