Wrist
The anatomy of the wrist joint is extremely complex, probably the most complex of all the joints in the body. The wrist is actually a collection of many bones and joints. These bones and joints let us use our hands in lots of different ways. The wrist must be extremely mobile to give our hands a full range of motion. At the same time, the wrist must provide the strength for heavy gripping.Repetitive use does however frequently lead to injuries.

The proximal row is where the wrist creases when you bend it. Beginning with the thumb-side of the wrist, the proximal row of carpal bones is made up of the:

The proximal row of carpal bones connects the two bones of the forearm, the radius and the ulna, to the bones of the hand. The bones of the hand are called the metacarpal bones. These are the long bones that lie within the palm of the hand. The metacarpals attach to the phalanges, which are the bones in the fingers and thumb.
There are 15 bones that form connections from the end of the forearm to the hand. The wrist itself contains eight small bones, called carpal bones. These bones are grouped in two rows across the wrist.
Conditions
Your wrist is made up of eight small bones known as carpals. They support a tube that runs through your wrist. That tube, called the carpal tunnel, has tendons and a nerve inside. It is covered by a ligament, which holds it in place.
Wrist pain is common. Repetitive motion can damage your wrist. Everyday activities like typing, racquet sports or sewing can cause pain.
Exercise Program
Setup: Begin by making a fist with your one hand. Rest your other palm on bottom of your fist. Movement: Use your bottom palm to resist the motion of your fist moving down.
Setup: Begin with one arm resting on a table and your hand in a fist. Rest your other palm on top of your fist. Movement: Try to bend your wrist upward, while resisting the movement with your upper hand.
Setup: Begin by making a fist with your one hand. Rest your other palm on bottom of your fist. Movement: Use your bottom palm to resist the motion of your fist moving down.
